The home was in the final stage of construction and needed a complete roofing system installed before insulation and interior finish work could move forward. Framing was already in place with a steep front gable, rear shed dormer, and several valleys that required careful layout to keep the roof lines crisp and aligned.

The biggest challenge was coordinating the roof install around other trades working on the site and keeping materials staged neatly on a tight lot. The mixed roof pitches and dormer intersections also meant the flashing details had to be exact to avoid future leak points.
Our Solution
How We Solved It
Our team installed ice-and-water shield in the vulnerable valley and eave areas, then laid synthetic underlayment across the full deck for added protection. We used GAF architectural shingles in Charcoal Gray with matching ridge caps, plus custom flashing at the chimney, vent pipes, and dormer transitions to make sure every seam was sealed properly.

The Final Outcome
The finished roof gave the new home a clean, complete appearance and tied all of the roof planes together with consistent color and detail. It now has a durable roofing system built to handle New Jersey weather, with the key waterproofing layers installed before the interior work wrapped up.
